On Thursday, a group by the name of Los Hermanos de los Andes (The Brothers of the Andes) performed at the Culture Connection series finale at the Helper Arts Festival. Festival attendees came to watch the popular band as they played select music from South America.
Instruments featured were the pan flute, the quena and string instruments, including the guitar and cherango.
During one of the songs performed, Los Hermanos de los Andes allowed audience members to come on stage and play select percussion instruments.
