Members of the community had the chance to tour the highly-anticipated Castleview Urgent Care on Monday afternoon as the facility played host to an open house event. The facility has been in the making for years, and after breaking ground in August 2016, Castleview Urgent Care is now open and ready to serve the community.
“We are very grateful, I and the board of trustees, for LifePoint and their financial help and their support and their vision of the future,” Lamar Guymon, chair of Castleview’s Board of Trustees, said about the hospital’s parent company.
Patients may visit Castleview Urgent Care for a non-life-threatening, but still urgent, illness or injury, including colds, flu, infections, sprains or strains, cuts, rashes and minor allergic reactions. The Urgent Care also offers preventative care such as flu shots, vaccinations and routine physical exams, and has on-site x-ray and lab capabilities.
“Our priority at the Urgent Care is providing our patients with high quality medical care that works with their busy schedules,” said CEO Mark Holyoak. “We want to ensure that your family can get the care they deserve when they need it.”
The Urgent Care center will not replace the patient’s primary care provider, but function as an extension of care whether the patient lives nearby or is visiting the area.
Two new providers, Angela Epstein, PA-C, and Michael Clark, NPC, will be offering care to patients at Castleview Urgent Care. No appointment is needed to see a provider during Urgent Care hours.
The facility also features the recently relocated office of Dr. Matthew Brady, Adam Callahan PA-C and the staff at Eastern Utah Family Medicine. Dr. Brady had the honor of cutting the ribbon during Monday’s open house event.
Additionally, the facility houses a satellite physical therapy location as an extension of the Castleview Wellness Center.
“We’re also very grateful for Mark, our CEO, for his vision and for his ability to never give up and to make things happen,” Guymon said. “This has been one of the things he has had on his mind for a number of years and now here we are today to have it finally done.”
Castleview’s Urgent Care will be open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. as well as Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, patients can contact Castleview Urgent Care at (435) 637-5061 or stop by the facility located at 317 East 100 North in Price.
