The Carbon Dinos ran their Region 14 record to 3-1 after a Friday night thrashing of Maeser Prep, 64-34.
Leading by 10 at the half, Carbon outscored Maeser Prep 38-18 in the second half for the 30-point victory.
Derek Hillam led all scorers in the game with 23 points. Ryan Gagon knocked down three threes en route to 17 points on the night. Jordan Vasquez connected twice from downtown for 12 points.
Carbon (4-10, 3-1 Region 14) will travel to Roosevelt for a Tuesday matchup against the Union Cougars (8-4, 3-0 Region 14) in a battle between the two top teams in the region.
