The Carbon Dinos won their ninth game in a row Friday, taking the final matchup against American Leadership Academy in just five innings, 12-1.
Carbon beat ALA on Tuesday, 14-5, in Spanish Fork.
Cody Lowe was dominant on the mound, tossing the complete game four-hitter. He gave up just one earned run in five innings while striking out eight batters.
Lowe also went 2-3 in the game with a double and an RBI. Nate Olson and Anthony Jones led the team with two RBIs apiece. Cesar Laya and Ty Anderson also added two hits each in the game.
Carbon scored six runs over the first three innings. After ALA scored its lone run in the top of the fourth, the Dinos responded with six more runs in the bottom half of the inning to run away with the win.
Carbon (15-6, 8-0 Region 14) will look for its 10th straight win as it will host Region 14’s #2 team, Juab (15-5, 7-1 Region 14), on Tuesday in Helper.
