Bruin Point Elementary students showed off their art talent during the school’s art night on Tuesday evening.
The elementary’s art teacher, Kecia Vigil, and her assistant, Misty Valdez, have worked throughout the year on the displays that each child contributed to. The duo focused on several famous artists while the children learned more about the artists’ work.
Students conducted the art projects by using clay, India ink, watercolors, print making with ink, fabric waving and several other materials to help enhance the students artistic understanding.
Mr. Behn, the elementary’s music teacher and nine students performed a piano musical number at the event as well. Nearly 100 people were in attendance to support the young, artistic children.
