In early April, it was announced that Chanel Richardson would be suiting up for Oak Hills Christian College’s volleyball and basketball teams in Minnesota. Coach Charlotte Snowden signed Richardson as her first recruit for the 2018-19 season last month.
Richardson is from Price and will be graduating from Pinnacle Canyon Academy this month. She is the daughter of Christin Alcon and Amos Richardson. The young athlete plays the outside hitter position in volleyball while she is a shooting guard in basketball. Richardson plans on majoring in psychology while attending college.
In an interview with Snowden at the college, she stated “I’m excited to welcome Chanel to the Lady Wolfpack family! She will not only be a great addition to our athletic program but to the college as a whole. What makes this extra special is the fact that Chanel is the first official signee for this upcoming school year.”
