Members of the community that used to find themselves making a trek over the mountain for medication compounding and med packing will be pleased to learn that their journeys are no longer a necessity thanks to the opening of Price Family Pharmacy on Main Street.
Price Family Pharmacy was created when a need for certain services, such as compounding and med packing, was detected. Medication compounding is the preparation of personalized medications for an individual, while med packing is the act of creating personalized packages of medications that a patient is required to take daily.
Owned by Mike Johnson, currently residing in Springville and a native of Emery County, the pharmacy is managed by Brian Tullis. Price Family Pharmacy opened its doors on March 26 and boasts three technicians that are all local. Along with the unique services offered, the pharmacy carriers a large number of OTC (over the counter) products that can normally be found at a pharmacy.
Other goods and products offered at the pharmacy include certain brands of vitamins, lotions, creams, hygiene products and more. Automatic refills at set dates, free delivery and free vitamins for the whole family are just a few of the amenities that set Price Family Pharmacy apart.
A website has not yet been set up for the pharmacy, but once it is up and running, online requests will also be available. For transferring information or other questions about Price Family Pharmacy, call (435) 637-3737 or visit the pharmacy at 4 East Main Street in Price.
