Every year, the Mike Ballard Memorial Golf Tournament and Fundraiser draws out a big crowd to help raise money for local community members in need. This year hit close to home, celebrating Frank Ori.
The day of events began at noon at the Carbon Country Golf Course with the annual golf tournament. Teams played the course to raise money. The tournament ended with Bill Barnes’ team coming in first with 50 points. The Westerguard, Intermountain Electronics and Casey Hopes teams all tied for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places with 55 points.
The festivities continued that evening at the Carbon County Event Center with a dinner and concert. Ori was able to attend the event, having recently returned home. With entertainment provided by Natural Causes, there was an abundance of smiles and dancing to cap off the event.
