It was a mixture of sunshine and a little bit of rain in Sunnyside on Friday, but the rain didn’t damper the fun at Miner’s Trading Post for its sixth annual parking lot party.
The party began at 3 p.m. and brought a wide variety of entertainment for all. Dunk tanks, bounce houses, train rides, and various games brought smiles and laughter to children and adults alike. The Mountain Pacific band serenaded the crowds until 6 p.m.
The event is hosted annually to raise funds for Bruin Point Elementary School to be used throughout the coming school year.
