During the Millsite Ladies Golf Association closing social, retiring president Evelyn Huntsman reported to members some of the year’s activities and accomplishments.
Huntsman expressed appreciation for the grant received from the Emery County Travel board. This enabled the association to raise the tee boxes on holes 15 and 16. All members also received a golf shirt featuring the Swell logo, planting flowers and prizes for various fun contests during the year. She also expressed appreciation for many sponsors who have helped to make the year enjoyable for all members.
New officers for the 2019 golf season were chosen by those present at the annual social. Cara Jenkins will move from vice president to president. Nancy Draft was selected as vice president and Vicky Thomas will serve as secretary.
Kasey Edgehouse, Millsite Golf Pro, presented certificates during the closing social.
