Bounce houses, pony rides, face painting, photo booths and many animals to pet were all available to the little spooks and goblins who attended Take 5’s Halloween carnival on Saturday afternoon.
Take 5 is a non-profit 501-C entity located near Gordon’s Floral in Huntington. The organization got its start a few years ago as a retreat following a suicide in the family. During the past year, every elementary school in Emery County has visited the farm, taking time to interact with the animals. Chrysallis, an adult living facility for those with special needs, also brings a group on Mondays and Wednesdays for therapy and to volunteer at the facility.
“Our mission is to provide a farm for individuals who would benefit from interaction with our animals,” the organization shared.
There is no charge to any of the visitors, who always receive a meal or a treat, so the proceeds from the carnival will help these services continue.
