Signing day opened on Wednesday for high school seniors to sign letters of intent to continue their basketball careers when they start college next fall. Three starters from Emery High’s girls’ basketball team committed to play college ball after the upcoming season. Kinlee and Kacelyn Toomer signed with Utah State University Eastern while Megan Jensen committed to Utah Valley University.
Last season, over 26 games, Jensen averaged 17.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. Kacelyn came in at 11.5 points, 2.2 assists and 2.6 steals per game while Kinlee recorded 10.5 points, 5.1 assists and 2.6 steals per game.
