During the Price City Council meeting on Wednesday evening, David Jelin approached the pulpit to express his gratitude to the council and the concern he has for veterans in the area.
According to Jelin, he and others appreciate the city and their recognition of the rising issue of veteran suicides. He also discussed with the council that he would like to see more awareness around the local community, somewhere for veterans to turn to if they need any kind of assistance. Jelin also expressed that he wants to be included in anything that he could do to help other veterans who are struggling.
As a result of the meeting, the council officially declaring December as Price City’s Veterans Suicide Awareness Month.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the council wished everyone in the community a safe Christmas and happy holidays.
