A recent high school Quizbowl competition was hosted on Tuesday, April 2 at San Juan High School. Teams that competed were from Emery, San Juan, Grand, Green River and Monticello. Carbon High School was not in attendance at the bowl but rather competed in an online competition on April 5.
In the varsity tournament, the Emery B team nabbed first place while the Emery A team came just behind in second place. San Juan A finished the scoring in third.
For the junior varsity portion of the tournament, Grand secured a first place hold with Emery following in second place. Third place rankings went to San Juan.
