Lydia Juanita Hochstatter, age 82, passed away on March 31, 2019.
Lydia was born July 22 1936 to Lucy Anna Mazzarise & Fidel DeHerrerra in Rouse, Colorado.
Lydia was one of seven children, she had 4 brothers and 2 sisters, brothers Edward, Ernest, Oress & Archie. Sisters Sophie & Josephine.
Lydia married Lawrence Young Jr in 1952, they had 11 children. She later married Ron Hochstatter.
She is survived by her children, Ron & Denise Young, Lawrence & Janet Young, Kenny and Dawn Young, Maryanne and Lonny Coleman, Ernie and Karen Young, Hazel Powell & Gary, Jimmy and Joan Young, Liz Metelko & Tom Gutierrez, Robin and Neal Sparks, Preceded in death by her Parents, two sons, Alan and Bobby, brother Edward and husband Ron.
She was blessed with 27 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
She had a love for country music & played the guitar. She sang beautifully. She entertained many up to her 80th birthday. She will also be remembered for her collection of cookie jars.
Lydia was very loving & caring and tried to help in any way she could, she loved spending time with all her family. She is loved by so many & will truly be missed. Rest easy now mom. We love you.
As per her request, she will be buried in the Price cemetery with Ron.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
