Thursday evening was a lively one at the Price City Peace Gardens. The sun was shining and there was plenty of entertainment as many people sang and played instruments throughout the night.
Because it was open mic night, locals were invited to the stage to showcase their talents for the audience. Along with solo singers, one of the performers used his technology skills to play his own original music. There was also a number of participants who played the guitar and one who played his ukulele for the crowd. The night ended with rock music from an acoustic band before Price City Council member Layne Miller invited everyone out to the next Culture Connection.
The upcoming Culture Connection event will be take place on July 4 at 7 p.m., but not at the Peace Gardens as per usual. The special Independence Day celebration will be moved to Energy Days at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.
