Thursday evening was bright and sunny for Price City’s weekly Culture Connection series in the Peace Gardens. The band Wildflower Moon played covers of rock and roll music from the 60s through the 90s as well as some of their original songs. People from the crowd would occasionally jump up and dance to the music, which was more than welcomed and encouraged.

Next Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Peace Gardens, the Superintendents of Rock will perform for the audience. The performers will be composed of school superintendents. The band, formed in 2015, consists of Dr. Scott Rogers, Superintendent of Tooele School District (bass and vocals); Steve Carlsen, Superintendent of Box Elder School District (rhythm guitar and vocals); Kodey Hughes, Superintendent of Tintic School District (drums, vocals, trumpet and flute); and Dr. Scott L. Crane, Executive Director of the Southeast Service Center, former Utah Superintendent (lead guitar, vocals and harmonica).
