The Lady Dinos had a good week on the soccer field as they put together two dominating performances against American Leadership Academy (ALA) and Gunnison Valley.
Carbon began the week by welcoming ALA to Price. The game started slow for both teams as they went into the break tied 0-0. The Lady Dinos came out fierce in the second half, notching four goals to take the win, 4-1.
Junior Ryan Brady led the team with two goals. Grace Broadbear and Kayla Barney each added one goal apiece in the win. Sophomore Thalyn Lyman had an assist in the matchup while Emma Flemett and Katie Marshall protected the goal.
Carbon then carried that same energy to Gunnison Valley on Thursday. The Lady Dinos shot out of the gate, recording four goals in the first half alone while blanking the Bulldogs. Gunnison Valley managed one goal in the second half but it was not enough as Carbon went on to add five more, taking the non-region win 9-1.
Next up, the Lady Dinos will host South Summit on Tuesday in Price. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
