On Wednesday, Carbon hosted Gunnison Valley and got the 4-1 win.
Lindsey Snow started off things right with a 6-1, 7-6 sweep in first singles. Nicole Swasey did the same (6-3, 6-2) in second singles as did Ana Maria Olivas (6-1, 6-0) in third singles. Lizzie Blackburn and Alex Cartwright struggled in first doubles and did not win a game, (0-6, 0-6). Kaydance Scovill and Duda Lopes returned the favor, going 6-0, 6-0 to end the day.
Over the weekend, they Lady Dinos went to St. George and faced some stout competition in Draper Club Team, Ogden, Cedar Valley and Hillcrest. Carbon went 1-3 in the tourney, with the lone win coming from a 5-0 sweep over Cedar Valley. Snow and double duo Cartwright and Blackburn went 2-2 while Swasey, Olivas and second doubles Lopes and Scovill went 1-3 over the weekend.
