Pinnacle hosted Valley on Friday in Price. The Buffalos got off to a hot start and led 10-1 after three innings. The two teams traded runs down the stretch and Valley left with a 13-4 win.
Benjamin Scott led the Panther offense by going 3-3 with a double, two runs and one RBI. Christian McLean came in the game and settled things down on the mound by going three and two third innings, striking out eight and giving up three runs. However, the damage had already been done and the Panthers lost their seventh contest in a row.
Pinnacle (3-10, 0-7 Region 19) will remain at home on Wednesday when it plays Panguitch (6-7, 3-3 Region 19).
