A special tribute to 9/11 was given on Wednesday as Jagertown was welcomed to Price City as part of the Excellence Concert Series.
The series is part of Excellence in the Community, which was founded in 2005 is 501c3 non-profit organization based on the premise that Utah’s best musicians and dancers represent a powerful resource for bringing people together and enhancing communities. The organization partnered with Price City’s Culture Connection and Strategic Insurance Solutions to bring the free concert to the Price City Peace Gardens.
Jagertown, described as a mix of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Alabama, entertained the evening crowd with their fresh, rockin’ country sound. With 13 years of performing history, the band quickly got the crowd engaged as the sun set on Price.
The concert served as a tribute to first responders and veterans as it was held on the anniversary of the 2001 terror attacks. Organizers said they wanted to have a fun, family-friendly event that people could enjoy while recognizing the everyday heroes in the community.
