Brianna Welch, Parks and Cemetery Supervisor for Price City, invited members of the local Boys and Girls club to Cliffview Cemetery on late Friday afternoon for a special event.
This event was a tree planting that works in conjunction with the Arbor Day tree planting event. Though Arbor Day is hosted yearly in April, Welch stated that it is difficult to gather enough youngsters at that time due to conflicting schedules with the end of the school year.
Those that assisted in planting the tree were Stacey Campbell, Paul Spooner, Anja Royal, Jenny Gurule and Peyton Riley. The tree is now on display next to the cemetery’s sign for all to enjoy.
