The Eagles’ soccer team played the Colorado Northwestern Spartans on Saturday and came away with an impressive 4-0 win.
The first half of the game was an even tie of 0-0. Since it was sophomore day, every sophomore was able to play in the first half, which was in the Eagles’ favor, but they were not able to get the ball in the goal.
The offense lit up in the second half of the game and the Eagles were able to score four goals while keeping the Spartans from scoring.
The Eagles have two more regular season games remaining against Snow College and the College of Southern Nevada. They will be traveling to Ephraim on Thursday to take on the Badgers at 1 p.m.
Head coach Jared Woodhouse is hopeful that they will make it to the region tournament at the end of the season.
