Kings, queens, princesses, pirates, ninjas and more were welcomed to the Helper Civic Auditorium on Saturday afternoon for an enchanted experience.

The Fairytale Tea for Kenzlee event was organized as a fun way for children and parents in the community to be able to assist the Cook family, as Kenzlee was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor around her brain stem. For just $15 per child and $5 per adult, dreams were brought to life. Children in attendance were able to make their own swords, have their faces painted and enjoy temporary tattoos as well have their nails painted and their hair done by USU Eastern Cosmetology. The event also featured a delicious meal and more fairytale-themed fun.

Costumes were encouraged and many princesses, mythical creatures, pirates, ninjas and even Scooby Doo were noticed in the crowds from children and adults alike. The opportunities for fun did not stop there, however. Those that wished could sign up to win exciting prizes such as a Disneyland vacation for a family of four, a $500 USU Eastern Cosmetology package, laser hair removal, a 55-inch flat screen television and much more.

By the end of the exciting event, a large sum was raised for the Cook family, who will be able to use the funds for medical expenses and Kenzlee’s needs. This amount will be added to the amounts already raised in raffle ticket purchases. Raffle tickets are still being sold at various locations in Price and will be available until November.
