The USU Eastern men’s soccer team traveled to Ephraim to take on the Snow College Badgers Thursday. This game was intense as both teams played well and held each other tight. Luckily, the Eagles were able to take home the win with a 1-0 score in double overtime.
“Snow is a very good team in a very high-pressure game. They made it difficult for us all day and we made it difficult for them all day. It was a very very tight game with neither team really having the advantage until we put the game away in double overtime,” said head coach Jared Woodhouse.
During the first half of the game, the Eagles were able to dominate the Badgers but could not get a goal in. During the second half, the Badgers came out better than USU Eastern did but the Eagles were still able to hold them.
