NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REQUEST FOR GRANT FUNDING

The Municipal Building Authority of Carbon County, Utah will hold a public hearing on Friday, November 1, 2019, at 12:00 p.m., at the Carbon County Commission chambers on the second floor of the Carbon County Administration Building at 751 East 100 North, Price, Utah, to solicit comment concerning the size, scope and nature of a grant request to be presented to the State of Utah Community Impact Fund Board (CIB), for improvements to the Southeastern Utah Health Department building.  The purpose of the project is to allow the Health Department to move from its current location, which no longer has sufficient space to house its personnel and operations, to the old Seventh District Court Building, located at 149 East 100 South, Price, Utah.  The remodeled building will result in a building with several thousand square feet of additional workspace for the Health Department.  Although a grant will be requested, financing may be in the form of a loan.  All persons wishing to be heard at the hearing will have an opportunity to speak.
