For the third year in a row, the C.A.R.E. Coalition teamed up with Castleview Hospital and Little Caesars to encourage families in the area to enjoy a meal together.
Eat Dinner As a Family night was created as a way to bring members of the community together around their family dinner table. Bruin Point Elementary in East Carbon, Wellington Elementary in Wellington, Sally Mauro Elementary in Helper and the Price Boys & Girls Club all welcomed individuals to pick up a free pizza while supplies lasted.
Members of the USU Eastern Sun Center volunteered their time at the Boys & Girls Club to assist in handing out the pizzas. Also handed out were flyers with information on how to stay engaged in your child’s life and encourage them to remain alcohol-free.
Chit Chat cards were also handed out that had many topics on them for families to discuss while enjoying their free meal.
