San Rafael Middle School (SRMS) recently hosted a Halloween Poetry Contest, giving the students an opportunity to get spooky and flex their academic muscles.
Those that won the contest will have their poems submitted to the Creative Communication Poetry Contest for the state of Utah for possible publication. In sixth grade, Maisie Cave, Willie Petty and Diamond Batista were named as winners. Haivyn Pitchforth and Little Tuttle were the winners in the seventh grade division and the eighth grade winners were Shaely Walker, Amy Sorenson and Lizzie Carroll.
“Great job students!” stated Anjelena Behling of SRMS.
