ECDC Environmental, L.C. has submitted plans to expand the existing landfill SuperCell #1 increasing the capacity to accept municipal solid waste. The expansion encompasses at total of 7.6 acres, of which 2 acres include area for new liner. The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has reviewed the project plan for this expansion and determined the design and quality assurance documents are complete.
The public comment period to receive comments on the MSW Expansion 1 Cell will commence on April 9, 2020 and end on May 11, 2020.
