Request for Submittal/Bid for Abatement of Asbestos; Window Putty, Vinyl Tile, Paper Material, White duct tape, Sheet Vinyl, to be completed during the month of February 2021. We will also be accepting Bids for upcoming projects at Emery High School, at time of walkthrough, more information will be provided for the upcoming projects.
Emery School District is now accepting submittals/bids for the abatement of approximately 60 sq ft white window putty, 4 sq ft paper material wrapped around a wood support, 100 sq ft white duct tape on ducting, 200 sq ft vinyl tile, and 3 sq ft Sheet vinyl. Work to begin on February 1, 2021 as directed by Owner and to be completed on or before March 1, 2020. Must field verify measurements, locations, and types of ACM. Mandatory Walk Through Required. District will host a walk through on January 20, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Emery High School; 975 North Center, Castle Dale, Utah.
Bid opening will be January 26, 2021, 8:00 a.m., at the Emery School District Board Office at 130 North Main in Huntington, Utah
Proposal(s) may be mailed, delivered, or faxed to Kerry Lake, Building Construction & Facilities Supervisor. Proposals must be received on or before January 25, 2021 at 4 p.m. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to the Emery County School District must accompany each bid. Emery School District reserves the right to reject any or all submittals/bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any submittal/bid in the interest of the School District. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal if determined to be in the best interest of the School District.
