Notice is hereby given that a petition for annexation has been filed with Castle Dale City for the purpose of annexing parcels of land belonging to Casey Toomer, Magnuson Livestock, and Art Olsen along 600 N hereinafter described as follows:
BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION:
Beginning at a point which is located N 89°44’34” E, 566.00 feet along the Section Line and N 00°46’31” W, 33.00 feet from the Southwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 18 South, Range 8 East, SLB&M, said point being on the existing Castle Dale City Boundary; thence N 89°44’34” E, 92.89 feet along said existing boundary; thence S 00°15’28” E, 9.72 feet along said existing boundary; thence N 89°44’34” E, 60.57 feet; thence S 00°46’31” E, 1.28 feet; thence N 89°44’34” E, 613.20 feet to the Quarter Section Line; thence N 89°08’32” E, 532.36 feet; thence N 00°37’23” W, 406.94 feet; thence S 89°08’32” W, 150.00 feet; thence S 00°59’49” E, 326.94 feet; thence S 89°08’32” W, 382.73 feet to the Quarter Section Line; thence S 89°44’34” W, 765.98 feet to the existing Castle Dale City Boundary; thence S 00°46’31” E, 69.00 feet along said existing boundary to the point of beginning.
Containing 3.58 acres, more or less.
Notice of certification was received by the Castle Dale City Council on February 12, 2021. The complete Annexation Petition is available for inspection and copying at Castle Dale City Office, 20 S 100 E, Castle Dale, Utah. Castle Dale City may grant the Petition and annex the above described area unless a written protest to the Annexation Petition is filed with the Emery County Boundary Commission through the Emery County Commission Office, Emery County Court House, 75 East Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah; and a copy of the protest must be delivered to the Castle Dale City Recorder at the address noted within 30 days from the date of certification. The last day for protests is March 24, 2021.
