The Lady Panthers took to the road this weekend to take part in the APA Tournament in Draper.
On Friday, the Panthers were pitted against St. Joseph. The first set was close, but the Jayhawks took it 25-22. St. Joseph made it two in a row with its 25-16 second set win. The Panthers struggled in the third set and fell 25-10 to lose the match in three sets.
Pinnacle returned on Saturday to face the tournament hosts, Draper APA. Things did not go well for the visitors as the Eagles handled Pinnacle 25-11, 25-11 and 25-16.
The Panthers (2-5) will want to turn things around quickly as they head to Green River on Tuesday to face their rivals, the Pirates (3-5).
