Notice is hereby given that a petition for annexation has been filed with Cleveland Town for the purpose of annexing a parcel of land belonging to Michelle & Dylan Priano hereinafter described as follows:

Parcel 3-62-5
Beginning at the East Quarter Corner of Section 13, Township 17 South, Range 9 East, SLB&M, said point being on the existing Cleveland City Boundary; thence S 01°01’55” E, 1333.24 feet along said Cleveland City Boundary and the Section Line to the Southeast Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 13; thence S 88°57’48” W, 666.55 feet along the south line of the said Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence N 00°59’19”, 1332.26 feet to the Cleveland City Boundary; thence N 88°52’46” E, 665.54 feet along said Cleveland City Boundary to the point of beginning.
Notice of certification was received by the Cleveland Town Council on November 3, 2022. The complete Annexation Petition is available for inspection and copying at Cleveland Town Office, 130 W Main in Cleveland, Utah.
Cleveland Town may grant the Petition and annex the above described area unless a written protest to the Annexation Petition is filed with the Emery County Boundary Commission through the Emery County Commission Office, Emery County Court House, 75 East Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah; and a copy of the protest must be delivered to the Cleveland Town Recorder at the address noted within 30 days from the date of certification. The last day for protests is December 3, 2022.
A protest to the annexation petition may be filed by property owners if it contains the signatures of owners of private real property that (1) is located in the unincorporated area within 2 miles of the area proposed for annexation; (2) covers at least 25% of the private land area located in the unincorporated area within 2 miles of the area proposed for annexation; (3) is equal in value to at least 15% of all real property located in the unincorporated area within 2 miles of the area proposed for annexation.
I, the undersigned duly acting and appointed Recorder of Cleveland Town certify that the foregoing notice was posted in three public places on November 3, 2022 and provided to the ETV10 newspaper for publication in the next three scheduled circulations.
