Utah State University Eastern Announces Leadership Changes

Utah State University announced that Greg Dart, senior associate vice president for USU Eastern, will step down from his position on June 30, 2023. Dart recently accepted the position of president of Western Nebraska Community College. USU will now launch a nationwide search for USU Eastern’s next chief campus administrator.

“We thank Greg for his countless hours of service rendered to our students at the Eastern campus and for his leadership over these past four years,” said Rich Etchberger, vice provost and interim vice president for Statewide Campuses. “Greg made a great impact in the community of Price and he will be missed. We wish him all the best in this new opportunity.”

USU will announce an interim to lead the campus during the search soon.

Dart was named associate vice president at USU Eastern in 2019. Prior to that, Dart served as the vice chancellor of student affairs and enrollment management beginning in 2014, and the director of enrollment services from 2012-2013. He received his Master of Education degree from USU in 2010.

“Utah State University Eastern is an unbelievable place serving amazing communities,” Dart said. “It has been an honor to lead this campus and work with such a dedicated faculty and staff. I will always cherish the tremendous work everyone has done to make USU Eastern such a great place.”
