Public notice is hereby given that a petition for the annexation has been filed with Orangeville City for the purpose of annexing a parcel of land belonging to Randall Stilson 860 S. Main hereinafter described as follows:
Boundary Description:
Beginning North 26 Rods from the Southeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 18 South, Range 8 East, SLB&M; thence West, 181.01 feet; thence South, 80.00 feet; thence East, 181.01 feet; thence North, 80.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Notice of certification was received by the Orangeville City Council on May 11, 2023. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at Orangeville City office, 25 N. Main, Orangeville, Utah. Orangeville City may grant the petition and annex the above described area unless a written protest to the annexation petition is filed with the Emery County Boundary Commission through the Emery County Commission Office, Emery County Court House, 75 E. Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah; and a copy of the protest must be delivered to the Orangeville City Recorder at the address noted within 30 days from the date of certification. A public hearing will be held on June 8, 2023 to address this annexation.
