On Monday afternoon, the Emery County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) reported that a fire is burning on the south side of Ferron Mountain.
Currently, the fire is near Flagstaff Peak. According to the ECSO, there are crews on scene that are assessing the fire, which is currently estimated to have burned 10 to 20 acres.
The sheriff’s office assured that updates will be provided when available.
