On Tuesday, the Emery County Travel Bureau met for their regularly scheduled meeting. The board approved moving forward with a “Go-Utah Destination” program with go-utah.com. They then approved an advertising sponsorship for the Milliste golf course.
The manager of the golf course discussed all the out-of-town visitors they have received at the golf course. His request was to help fund a Golf Genius software marketing program.
The Travel Bureau also designed and funded the new Huntington City billboard and entered into a new agreement with the John Wesley Powell River History Museum to continue funding them.The board agreed to subscribe to Eventeny, an event running software that will host Emery County events.
The Event Coordinator reported on Millsite Off Ice which was extremely successful. Green River Disc Golf Tournament was successful, Green River Golf Course looking into expanding the disc golf course.
Their next meeting is scheduled for July 9 at 3:30 p.m.
