Emery High School participated in the State Solo and Ensemble competition on Saturday at Lone Peak High School.
Solo and Ensemble is scored as follows: I (best), I-, II+, II, II-, III+, III (worst).
Emery’s madrigal choir scored a I-.
Emery’s Choral students scores, by name and score: Kelsie McElprang II, Chamber Coerner II+, Rachel Rogers I- , Spencer Fehlberg II+, Kalin Burr II+, Jeremiah Luke II+, Leedan Johnson II, Ky Jensen and Mia Doria I.
Emery’s Chamber Choir performed an ensemble and received a I.
Emery Band student Jessi Jennings took a II.
Emery Pianist Ashley Stilson took a II+.
All of these students had to receive a I at their region competitions to get to the state level for a higher level of adjudication.
