With thirty dollars and watered down gasoline, Larry started his first business in Soldier Summit, Utah. He ran a service station and tow truck while raising his small, but growing, family. On the weekends he packed his family up and headed to Strawberry or White River, surrounding himself in nature. After selling his business he took to truck driving. Later In 1992 he re-opened Summit Towing and through hard work and perseverance built a successful business. Larry took pride in Summit Towing and the memories are some of his children and grand children’s fondest! He took pride in showing them the ways of the wrecker. Larry felt privileged to have his youngest son Larry to carry on Summit Towing.
The world stopped in the fall for the hunts where he spent weeks at a time in the mountains. His greatest joy in life was hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends. Larry had an unforgettable sense of humor. He could make one laugh, cry, blush, leave you speechless or all the above.
He is survived by his loving wife Andrea, sons: Louis Elmer, Wilford Allen Freeman, Roger Freeman, Larry Freeman and Steven Butts; Daughter, Emilia (Brendan) Gordon and Dawnea.
