The Ferron City Council voted unanimously to appoint former Mayor Gil Conover as the appeal authority.
Councilmen explained the position would essentially serve as an appellate authority regarding housing authority decisions; meaning people who disagree with housing authority decisions would take their cases to Conover.
Notes:
- Councilmen approved a two-year contract to lease office space in the fire station to the Utah Highway Patrol.
- Dam construction will begin at Millsite Reservoir in 2014. An application for funding will begin in October.
