The Emery County Historical Society and Castle Valley Outdoors teamed to host Cowboy Poetry Night on Thursday at the Castle Valley Outdoors Shooting Club.
Special guest Sam DeLeeuw, winner of multiple cowboy poetry awards, headlined the event. DeLeeuw’s accomplishments included releasing the number one album on the Western Music Association’s top ten.
DeLeeuw recited many humorous titles from her recording “Women of the West”.
Local band Firehouse Five provided music and entertainment for large crowd.
