The USU Eastern women’s soccer team geared up on Saturday for a home competition against Trinidad State Junior College. The women notched a 1-0 win, bumping the team’s standings to 10-1-2 and a perfect 2-0 record at home.
Lindsay Bray scored the lone goal for the game in the first half with an assist from Ashlynn Matthews. Six other players each had a shot on goal, while Julianna Gibson protected the goal for the Eagles.
The women will host Dakota County Technical College on Oct. 23. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
