Fire crews from Castle Dale, Orangeville, Ferron and Huntington responded to a house fire at approximately 11 p.m. Saturday night.
The blaze started in an apartment unit in Castle Dale and spread to a second unit. Both apartments suffered significant damage.
According to the Orangeville fire chief, a dog perished in the fire and a firefighter received minor injuries while extinguishing the blaze.
