Emery County Commissioners listened Tuesday to Utah Local Government’s Trust presentation and overview of property and casualty insurance coverage.
Utah Local Government’s Trust representatives said they could save Emery County money by offering better coverage at lower prices.
Wanting to review documents and options, Commissioners did not make a decision on the matter.
Notes:
- Commissioners approved a new software license agreement for the Emery County Sheriff’s Department. The new software would allow Deputies to fill out reports on computers in their vehicles. Deputies currently hand write on-scene reports and enter them into a computer upon return to the office.
- Commissioners said they were seeking someone to represent Ferron, Emery and Clawson on the Emery County Adversity Council on Aging. The position would be advertised locally.
