Tanie Worthen was recognized Thursday at the Sixth Grade Dance Festival hosted at Emery High School for starting the now six-year-long tradition.
Worthen organized the program that brought sixth graders from all Emery County elementary schools together to dance and perform.
Representatives of each school took turn performing their own dances to a mix of songs. Afterward, the entire Emery County sixth grade danced together.
