The Lady Eagles earned two wins against College of Southern Idaho and North Idaho College on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.
On Thursday night, CSI traveled to Price for a conference matchup. The Eagles led for the first seven minutes of play before CSI stepped up to take the lead at the half, 37-32. Maddy Murphy powered the Eagles with 19 points followed by Bryanna Adams with 18. Fisher Caroline chipped in 14 to secure the 83-78 win.
Adams was a star again on Saturday as she shot the Eagles to yet another win against North Idaho College, 92-83. Adams finished the night with 19 points and eight boards. The team gained momentum early as Caroline drained a three on the first shot of the night for the Eagles. The team continued their offensive push to take the half 47-40. USU Eastern did not let up as they went on to grab the win.
The Eagles will next take on Eastern Arizona College and Hutchison Community College to finish out the year.
