Carbon County third graders were treated to a day of farm life on Wednesday at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.
The Future Farmers of America (FFA) from Carbon High School educated the students on the uses of wool and demonstrated how to milk a cow. Other activities at the event included the life of a honey bee, learning where food comes from and learning activities about bacteria and cleanliness.
The FFA members also had a farm animals for the students to view. It was a fun day of hands-on education for the second graders and all who attended.
