A two-car accident at the stop light located at 400 North 300 East in Price Monday afternoon caused damage to both vehicles, but everyone involved walked away uninjured.

According to Price City Police Sergeant Tracy Allred, the accident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. when a passenger car driven by Fredrick Halverson, 83, ran a red light, making impact with a drivers ed car driven by Phil Howa. No students were in the vehicle at the time.

“Howa was making a left hand turn at the light after leaving the school,” Allred explained. “Halverson was travelling northbound when he failed to stop at the light and made contact with the drivers ed car. Speed was not an issue and Halverson was cited at the scene.”

Although Halverson’s vehicle sustained only minor damage, the drivers ed car received significant damage.
