An auto accident happened in Price today around two in the afternoon. The incident occurred just off Highway 6 exit 240 (the exit by Castleview Hospital.)
According to Levi Oman of the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a California woman driving a Volkswagen Passat was traveling westbound on 100 North failed to yield while attempting to turn onto the on ramp of Highway 6. She collided with a Price resident driving a Mazda Tribute.
“They hit pretty much head on,” Oman explained.
No one involved in the incident was injured and they all refused medical attention. Cars traveling through the area were either shown a detour or experienced minimal delays.
“I believe that the Mazda is totaled,” said Oman. “The Volkswagen is questionable and may be able to be salvaged.”
