Randi has been chosen as the Self-Advocate of the Year. Randi loves spending time with her family and friends, including her 6 siblings and 7 nieces and nephews. She has learned how to speak in front of people about being a self-advocate, and she has spoken to about 4,000 students about living with a disability! She has participated in many training and advocacy events, including UDDC self-advocacy conferences, the USILC NINJA conference, and attends activities at Active Reentry Independent Living Center in Price.
